You can make it to the Kornhausmuseum (granary museum) at Rohrschach Harbour in just 1 minute, the "Badhütte" ("Bathing Hut") beach in 5 minutes, the town of Saint Gallen in 15 minutes by car or train, the "Biedermeier" village of Heiden in 25 minutes by mountain railway, the Bregenz Festival in 30 minutes by car, Lindau in 60 minutes by boat, Friedrichshafen in 70 minutes by car and ferry and up to the 2504 m high Säntis peak in 90 minutes – unless you fly from Saint Gallen/Altenrhein; then it only takes 20 minutes to the top and even the short hop to Austria's capital Vienna takes only 90 minutes.
